Arcos provided specialist civil and geotechnical engineering services for the delivery of both Baringa Primary School and Baringa State Secondary College in Caloundra South. These projects form part of a major growth corridor on the Sunshine Coast and required practical, buildable solutions to support fast-tracked delivery and long-term community needs.

Our Role
Arcos completed site investigations, subsurface testing, and laboratory analysis across both school sites, developing geotechnical design inputs for foundations, pavements, retaining structures, and stormwater systems. Our civil engineering scope included advice on earthworks, drainage, temporary works, and site preparation to manage variable ground conditions and ensure constructability.
By working closely with the project teams, Arcos delivered risk-informed engineering solutions that met program requirements and compliance standards, enabling the creation of modern, durable, and functional education facilities for the growing Caloundra South community.
