Arcos provided specialist civil and geotechnical engineering services for the redevelopment of BP Stapylton on Stapylton Jacobs Well Road. The site presented significant challenges, with highly reactive clays, deep engineered fill platforms, and ongoing pavement distress from settlement and shrink–swell movement.

Our Role: Arcos delivered a comprehensive geotechnical investigation program including boreholes, CPTu testing, and laboratory analysis. Our findings informed practical pavement and foundation solutions, addressing both immediate remedial needs and long-term site performance. Key inputs included settlement analysis, subgrade stabilisation strategies, drainage design, and ground improvement options. By combining civil and geotechnical expertise, Arcos ensured durable, risk-informed outcomes while maintaining site operations.
