As part of the Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) program, the new two-storey ambulance station in Kingscliff replaces the previous 60-year-old facility, creating a modern workplace and improving community service delivery.

Arcos was engaged to deliver a comprehensive package of geotechnical services to support the design and construction of the new station. Our scope included detailed subsurface investigations, targeted laboratory testing, and value-add engineering analysis to characterise ground conditions and provide practical, construction-focused advice and savings. By combining technical accuracy with local experience, we provided geotechnical recommendations that helped inform foundation design, earthworks strategies, and long-term site performance.
