The Western Downs Region in Queensland is actively addressing the challenges posed by both drought and flooding through the implementation of a series of Council projects aimed at mitigating the impacts of these extreme weather events.

There are currently four (4) key projects that are all in varying stages that are being concurrently delivered to support long term water security and mitigate risk during flooding.
• Condamine Weir & Fish Ladder Updgrade
• Condamine Raw Water Pump Station
• Chinchilla Offstream Storage, and
• Jandowae Spillway Upgrade
